Our organization
A movement is growing, a movement of people saying: “This can’t go on–we want change.” Our aim is to connect these people especially locally in the council of Brent mainly in areas such as Harrow, Kingsbury, Edgeware. Social media has created new spaces for collaboration and collective action, this is our opportunity to build a strong effective network based on communities working together. Herein lies our opportunity. Together, we are stronger than the status quo. Because the status quo is nothing without us. We own this, and we can fix this, together.
Being a member of the Greenway is free of charge and lets you create climate actions as well as interact and follow other members within your communities.
About us: Our Mission
We will be updating weekly with news of any actions taken by anyone in the nearby areas to improve their environment or support spreading awareness. We also provide information on future events based locally or in central London in relation to marches/community meetings/planting trees/cleaning parks/lakes/rivers. In the events section you can find out about each event and the location. You can also join our social media group on FaceBook named GreenwaySociety where members discuss various events and exchange information on how they can better their environment. We also have an instagram page @greenwayonlyway which we keep updated with photos and videos of events, marches or anything related to actively supporting the movement.
